J.Silla's Music Video

Weekend of the 19th and 20th of September it was all about Josephine Silla. She did an amazing job and we did a great job capturing those moment for the Music Video. Music Video is now officially in Post-Production and we will hope to have it up on, Onsmash.com, Youtube.com, Myspace.com, FaceBook.com, Vimeo.com, and DailyMotion.com in 2-3weeks. IT A WRAP!!!

So the music video for the Squadaz Ft Reed Dollaz "Overtime" is over! We shot it in 10 hours we had a good time. Everyone showed up, We had like 6 people doing behind the scenes for the video it was a great thing because Philly came Out to support Philly. 2 to 3 weeks the video should be out and everyone will have a chance to experience what we did. Album of The Week

All the albums I've listen to all week I was listening to Donald Byrd's 1969 "Fancy Free" the most. From the Album cover to the music it's just plain perfection. The album only has 4 songs but my favorite off the album has to be track 2 "I love the Girl". The song is beautiful! Check it out please its an amazing piece of work. The Album title is brilliant in itself for the definition of "Fancy Free" Means -

1. Having no commitments or restrictions; carefree.

2. Not in love or married; unattached.

The definition could be look in many ways, maybe he's talking about his love life or maybe he's just talking about the fact his music has no restriction and it's carefree. When I listen to this album I lie to you not, it makes me feel carefree. The Album was released in 1969 by Blue Note Records. If you don't know who Blue Note Records is or what they're responsible for go google them like NOW!

So it's a day away from shooting on my new music video. Bad thing it looks like it might rain tomorrow. It's raining now hopefully the clouds get empty and we have a great sunny weekend. We will just have to see...

Small Professor!!!

I heard about Small Professor about 8 months ago and I said to myself "WOW! Dude is a beast!". Def one of my favorite Producers in Philly right now. Took his name from Large Professor(MAIN SOURCE) who is a legendary Emcee and Producer from Queens. Didn't steal his name of course its clearly a homage to one of the greats. I dig it! If I was an emcee from Philly and I wanted to have that organic Hip Hop sound I would def get at this man right now! His Remix for CL Smooth's Perfected Timing FT. Skyzoo is BANANAZ. Love the way he chopped up The Delphonics' "La La Means ..". Check out my Brother's Myspace and listen for yourself. I'm sure your mouth will drop right threw the floor.

I heard the album when it leaked last week. OMG!!! the album is ridiculous! I hope when everyone hears this album it changes alot of shit in this F'ed up hip hop game. This is exactly what we been missing from hip hop for about close to 10 years!! its surprising its taking this long until someone really dropped a classic! Thank you Raekwon for making Hip Hop look good again! Peace to The GODS!!

A FEW DAYS LEFT

so there is only a few days left until shooting starts for Da Squadaz (SAGA & Prophy) Music Video featuring Reed Dollaz. song is called "Overtime", I can't wait until shooting start its going to be interesting to see how everyone will react in the hood. we going to be deep in north philly to make a classic music video.
